Mediterranean On Board
7 days / Viking Venus
Athens to Gran Canaria
Viking ocean ships are a different world from the river fleet—larger, more complex, and in this case, between itineraries. The Viking Venus was repositioning from Athens to Singapore with a stop in Gran Canaria, which meant a crew of 500 in transit mode and limited production windows. The main pool and World Café were under active renovation immediately after we embarked. We refreshed the brand’s ocean photography library, revisiting and improving existing setups while establishing new ones across the spaces available to us.

My focus was talent direction—working with ten professional models across the ship’s spaces and exterior decks. For scenes involving the full cast, I placed talent and oversaw wardrobe to ensure visual cohesion across the frame. Separate units handled architectural, 360°, and recruitment photography largely independently; I checked in daily and occasionally shared models across units.
